GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: A total of 100 girls, including orphans and those from disadvantaged families, received Eid gifts and clothing through a community support program organized by Tabaarak ICT in Mogadishu.
The event, held as part of the company’s annual Ramadan initiative Farxadda Afurka, aims to bring joy to children and families who may otherwise struggle to celebrate Eid.
Tabaarak ICT, a Somali company focused on delivering technological solutions and innovation services, also invests in community initiatives that support education, youth empowerment, and social welfare.

At the ceremony, organizers distributed Eid clothing, gifts, and other essential items to the girls, creating a festive environment for the upcoming holiday.
Mohamed Tawane, Head of Business Division at Tabaarak ICT, said the company views community support as a key part of its mission.
“Our goal is not only to innovate through technology but also to give back to the community. Programs like this remind us that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in people’s lives,” he said.
Parents attending the event expressed appreciation for the gesture.

Haboon Abdullahi, whose daughter benefited from the program, said the initiative had brought joy to many families.
“Seeing our children happy and prepared for Eid means a lot to us. We thank Tabaarak ICT for this generous support,” she said.

The event was attended by community members and parents, highlighting the growing role of private sector companies in supporting social development initiatives in Somalia.
