30 New Judges to Begin Duties at the Banadir Regional Courts

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: The Banadir Regional Court will receive 30 new Judges who were selected from 2000 candidates after undergoing a very competitive vetting exam.

Federal government of Somalia’s Supreme court president Baashe Yusuf Ahmed while congratulating the new Judges urged them to fulfill their responsibilities in a God-fearing manner and uphold justice and the rule of law.

The Supreme Court president added that the new judges will play an active role in upholding justice and the rule of law in Somalia and advised then to exercise their duties in line with the country’s constitution.

The introduction of the new judges underscores the federal government of Somalia’s resolve to build a robust judicial system and ensure law and order is maintained in the county.
