GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: 300 newly trained police officers are set to be deployed to boost security in Mogadishu after they were sworn into the Somali Police Force Monday.

The deployment is seen as a major step by the Federal Government of Somalia to secure the capital, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

“The swearing-in ceremony, attended by dignitaries and senior officials, “underscored the commitment of the Somali government to bolstering its police force and enhancing public safety,” government officials said.

The event signifies a significant stride in strengthening the capacity and effectiveness of Somalia’s law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and stability within the capital city.

The addition of the 300 officers to the Somali Police Force underscores the Federal Government of Somalia’s commitment to fostering a safer and more secure environment for its citizens.
