69th summit of UN general assembly opens in New York

United Nations General assembly meeting opens on Wednesday in New York, the headquarters of United Nations. Climate change as one of the main agendas of the summit that will be debated hotly.

At the opening, the session will focus on energy both renewable and non renewable.

At the end of the summit the heads of states and governments are anticipated to reach an agreement to combat global climate change.

Some African leaders attending a preliminary meeting of climate summit called for quick actions by the governments to provide reasonably priced, modern and sustained energy.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud representing the republic of Somalia is set to address United Nations general assembly late today.

President Hassan has taken special meetings with world leaders in New York a head of the general assembly meeting.
