“The only viable solution for peace in the Middle East is the establishment of a Palestinian state with its 1967 borders and Jerusalem as its capital,” President Mohamud stated.
He called upon the international community and leaders at the summit to take immediate action, proposing an urgent ceasefire and a return to the negotiating table
Further, President Mohamud urged the international community to provide emergency aid to those affected by the conflict and to support efforts towards a two-state solution, emphasizing the importance of diplomacy and collective action to prevent further escalation and to achieve a just and lasting peace in the region.
The summit, attended by leaders from across the Arab world and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, serves as a platform for discussing regional issues and coordinating efforts to address the humanitarian and political challenges facing the Middle East.
