A car Explosion in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU, A vehicle packed with explosives killed at least one person and injured several others.

A luxury car, with civilians, has exploded near the tomb of unknown soldier in the capital Mogadishu.

The car driver died at the scene and injured three people, including the dead driver’s mother, his brother and a woman selling tea on the street.

Security forces arrived at the scene for operation and immediately the injured people were taken to a medical centre.

Last Saturday al-Shabaab attacked Somalia’s Interior Ministry building in Mogadishu, killing at least nine people, including two ministry officials.

The Somali-based insurgent group al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the last two Saturday’s attacks in the capital Mogadishu.
