Our aim is to make East Africa one country, one state-President Museveni
Uganda President Yoweri Museveni has said a political integration in East Africa is critical in addressing challenges facing the region.
In an interview with Al Jazeera Media Network, the Ugandan leader who has been in power for 31 years said his vision is to see the East Africa Community transformed into one country.
“Our aim is to make East Africa one country, one state. It’s now integrated economically but together with our partners we want East Africa to become one country.”
