Al-Shabaab fighters raid residential house of somali officer in Bardhere

Al-Shabaab fighters on Friday night raided the home of head of projects for Bardhere administration Mohamed Hussein Ganey.

Residents in the town said soldiers guarding the residential home of the officer were able to ward off the attackers.

Ganey was not in his home at the time of attack.

No casualties yet reported and the administration of Bardhere district has not commented on on the incident.
