Al-shabab launch mortar attack on Baidoa airport and presidential palace

Reports from Baidoa states that Al-shabab members attacked with mortars on Baido airport and the presidential palace the late hours of the night.

The sounds of the heavy artillery fired into the airport and the presidential palace were heard all over the district.

A senior government official who spoke on a condition of anonymity told Goobjoog FM that at least seven mortars hit the airport and the palace.

The real casualties of the of the attack is not clearly known. Al-shabab have not yet claimed the responsibility of the attack.
