An emergency health crisis in Galmudug regions

Galmudug ministry of  Health held a meeting with medical experts in Galcayo town.

Galmudug Ministry of Health and the medical experts have discussed the strengthening of the health sectors in Galmudug and delivering health facilities to the region.

Minister of Health Naciima Maxamed Catoosh told the local media, that they need to open more agencies in order to prevent possible problem situations in the region.

“In our meeting, we called the healthcare institutions working in Galmudug in our meeting to update us on the real health situation in the region,” said Nacima

she added that they are many health emergency cases in the region and there are many other organizations that are working in the region without any approval from the ministry of health.”

The meeting between Galmudug and the Health experts have come in the recent months when there were some efforts to boost the health conditions in the region.

The medical experts and galmudug state department of health agreed to open health centres run by the Ministry of Health and agencies to reduce health needs in Galmudug region.
