Annual Business Summit to kick off Nairobi’s Eatliegh
Second annual business summit is expected kick off on Nairobi’s Eastleigh which is business and investment centre in Kenya as well as East Africa region, the Summit organizing manger said.
The forum is scheduled to take place at Eastleigh High School and will focus on communicating the need and impact of transparency in business operations, according to Ahmed Mohamed, chief executive of Ark Media, which has organised the summit.
“The preparation of the summit has been going on for the last six months, We also seek to bring together public and private investors from Nairobi and across the country to discuss ways of improving the investment climate and raise the profile of doing business in Eastleigh,
He added,“Among the businesses participating in this year’s summit include Money transfer firm, Dahabshiil, Safaricom, Kenya Power, Kenya Pipeline Company, furniture manufacture, Ally Baba and Ladnan Hospital, among others.This will enable the area attract more business and investors.”
He said the meeting, bringing together about 300 delegate, will discuss ways of enhancing the investment and business climate in the populous business district that is a key contributor to the country’s economy.
