Australian Government Pledges to Implement Developmental projects in Puntland

The president of Semi-autonomous regional state of Puntland, Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas has today received Australian Ambassador to Somalia, John Feakes at his office in Garowe, the capital administrative of Puntland State .
The two focused on wide range issues including Puntland’s security affairs and Australian developmental projects in Puntland State.
After the meeting the two held joint press conference which they detailed about their meeting.
President Gaas said Putnland appreciates and welcomes once again the high Australian delegation which came to see and discuss with Puntland State about the security situation and other issues.
“The delegation pledged that Australian government will implement developmental projects in Puntland State as soon as possible” he said.
John for his part said that they will keep on supporting Puntland State and pledged to implement multiple projects in Puntland, including infrastructure and social services.
