Banadir governor chairs security meeting

GOOBJOOG NEWS | BANADIR: Banadir region governor and Mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale yesterday chaired a meeting to discuss the security situation in the region.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of Security and political affairs of Banadir region, governors of Banadir region districts, and security officials.

Mr. Jimale stressed the importance of forging a peaceful coexistence among communities in the region and accelerating the restoration of security which he added can only be achieved if the locals cooperate with police and district authorities.

“We need to cooperate with police in preventing terror plots and attacks, fighting gangs and drug dealers,” he said.
