Banadir police force praised for maintaining peace in the region

GOOBJOOG NEWS | BANADIR: The Federal Government of Somalia Minister for Internal Affairs and Reconciliation Ahmed Macallin Fiqi has praised the Banadir police force for its role in preventing loss of lives and property in the region.

The minister added that the Banadir police have taken necessary measures that have seen a reduction in attacks against civilians and thanked the Somali community for collaborating with the police in fighting crime.

“I commend the good work and service to the Somali people by the Banadir police force in preventing loss of lives and destruction of property,” Minister Fiqi said.

He noted that Banadir police have succeeded in its plans to stabilize security in the capital which has been felt across the country by eliminating the various gangs that had emerged targeting civilians.
