Bosaso security forces arrest Oromo man accused of murder

Security forces have today arrested a man from the Oromo ethnic community suspected to have killed one person in Bosaso, the financial capital of the semi autonomous region of Puntland.

Reports indicate that the deceased man was allegedly killed by the suspect from the same region following a dispute.

The incident happened in an Oromian residential village Magaalo Cad in Bosaso town.

Police in Bosaso said they have detained the man for questioning in connection with the killing.

The disagreement between the two men is still unclear, but witnesses confirmed that the two men were from the Oromia region of Ethiopia and they were living in the same area in Bosaso town.
