Bossaso mayor calls on traders to use preventive methods to deal with frequent fire outbreaks
Bossaso administration called on the business people in the town to use preventive methods to deal with frequent fire outbreak following yesterday’s incident which gutted down properties worth thousands of US dollars.
“As we are on a verge of recording higher economic growth, there is the need for traders to take steps to curb these raging fire outbreaks through preventive measures to avoid further loss of lives and properties” said Bassaso mayor Yasiin Mire da’ar who spoke to Goobjoog News.
He said apart from the frequent fires at Bossaso market that caused considerable damage to shops and restaurants, communities should get fire extinguishers and emergence doors.
On Monday night, property worth hundred thousands of US dollars was razed down after a fire broke-out at a business premises at trading center in Bassaso town.
The mysterious fire that started at around 11:45pm local time was reportedly started at petrol station at in the centre of the town and razed several nearby shops,
