BREAKING: Somali man hit, killed by car in Nairobi

A saloon car hit and killed a Somali man on Saturday morning in Pangani of Kenya’s capital city Nairobi.

The car was heading towards Eastleigh when the driver lost control and veered off the road before hitting the pedestrian.

“The man was seriously injured. He died moments after the ambulance had arrived at scene,” said Abdirashid Muktar who witnessed the incident.

According Muktar, the saloon car was over speeding when it hit the man.

Police towed the vehicle, which killed the man to the police station as the body was ferried by the ambulance.
