Breaking News: Government shuts down Radio Shabelle

The government forces closed down Radio Shabelle in Mogadishu town on Friday afternoon.
The soldiers detained at least 15 of the station’s workers and more soldiers were deployed areas around the station.
The details of the shutting are not yet clearly known and the government has not yet commented on the closure of the radio station.
This comes a day after the government forces shut down Radio Goobjoog station in Baladwein town
and detained the director of the station and one of its reporters namely, Abdirisaq Mohamed Abdulle aka Al-Adala and Khalid Muhamud Osman respectively.
