Breaking News: Hundreds Demonstrate Against Somali Government in Bossaso

 

 

Reports from Bari region indicates that hundreds of people are taking the streets of Bossaso town to demonstrate against the federal government and newly formed Galmudug state on Sunday.

The demonstration is organized by the administration of bari region and the protestors are waving placards with their demands in a demonstration.

The irate protestors are against the Adado state formation conference which spearheaded by Somali federal government.

It is not the first time Adado conference faced opposition, on 10th this month, Somali moderate Islamist group, declared that its delegates would vacate the conference within 24 hours.

Speaking to Goobjoog News, its leader Sheikh Ibrahim Gurre, who was among the signatories to Somali central State formation conference put blame on Somali minister for internal affairs, Abdirahman Odawaa.

“The internal minister is a naive young boy who is new in the political arena so i have no answer for him” he said.

He added that they do not recognize the government “this government is not representing us”

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Galmudug State parliament elected a new speaker, ending a month of waiting parliament formation and the speaker.
