Breaking News: IJA Forces Capture Kudha Island

The Interim Jubbaland Administration Forces has successfully captured Kudha Island which was previously held by Alshabab.

There are no reported casualties and skirmishes, and the IJA forces entered the city after Alshabab fighters abandoned their positions.

The forces have been closing on the city since yesterday, but Alshabab withdrew the city before they could advance closer.

Alshabab have rested control of the city last year from IJA forces in a fierce fighting, and the group later tapped beheading of the captured soldiers and residents who they accused of sympathizing with IJA .
