Breaking News: Somali MP Gunned Down in Mogadishu

MP Abdullahi Qayat Barre has been just killed by unknown assailants in Hamar Jajab district in Mogadishu as he was departing from his home.

The killing came just hours before the Federal parliament commences a session to vote for the new cabinet of Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharma’arke.

Abdikarim Haji Buuh head of parliament secretariat has confirmed to Goobjoog that the MP has died from the shooting.
