BREAKING: ‘Several’ People Feared Dead in Liddo Beach Attack

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: Several people are feared dead tonight in an ongoing terrorist attack at a restaurant in Liddo beach, Mogadishu.

Multiple sources said the attack started at around 9pm with explosions followed by heavy gunfire. The attack is reported to have targeted revelers at Beach View restaurant.

Sources said several people were shot dead as they tried to flee the scene. The militant group Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for the attack.
