Business activities in Bakara market back to normal after two days strike
The business people in Bakara market have re-opened there premises after two days strike that has paralyzed the activities of the different segments of the biggest market in Somalia.
The two days strike came after the businessmen complained from excessive money demanded by men dressed in military uniform on top of the normal levies they pay to Mogadishu municipality.
Kassim Artan, a businessman in Bakara market confirmed to Goobjoog FM that the business activities in the market returned to normal after discussions with the government.
He added that the government has promised to tackle their complains and set up legal procedure of taking levies after meeting trade union in Mogadishu.
