Cabinet Approves Two Bills Ahead of Parliamentary Debate

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: The Council of Ministers today approved two bills paving their way for tabling in parliament and subsequent debates.

The Council chaired by Prime Minister Hamze Barre endorsed the Bill on Income Tax Law and General Financial Management Regulations, Debt Policy and Lending Process and Issuance of Guarantees.

The Minister for Transport also presented a report on the completion of identified roads in Garowe, Baidoa and Kismayo in addition to those earmarked for construction in Beletweyne and Dhusamareb. The Ministry also noted that it is on course to installing sewerage systems in Mogadishu.

Further, the Minister of Security also submitted reports on the ongoing military operations against Al-Shabaab.
