Cabinet discusses report on challenges faced by Bajaj drivers
GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: The council of ministers today met to deliberate on the challenges faced by Bajaj drivers across the country.
During their weekly meeting which was chaired by Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre, the advisory committee tabled a report on a study done to find out the challenges faced by the drivers.
While carrying out the study, the committee interviewed several bus drivers who presented an 18-point recommendation on how to solve problems facing the drivers.
Internal Security and Defense ministers who spoke during the function also presented to the council of ministers a report on the state of security across the country and operations aimed at eradicating the Al-Shabaab militia group.
The Ministers’ council however noted that the country’s security apparatus should enhance vigilance during the holy month of Ramadan saying the terror group could take advantage of this period to carry out attacks against the Somali people.
