China Donates Emergency Medical Supplies to Somalia  

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Somalia’s Health Ministry has received crucial emergency supplies from the Chinese Embassy in Mogadishu which will boost the country’s healthcare and enhance the ministry’s efficiency in attending to medical emergencies.

While receiving the donation from a delegation from the Chinese embassy led by Ambassador Fei Shengchao, Somalia’s Health Minister Ali Hajiadam highlighted the importance of the donated medical equipment in enhancing Somalia’s healthcare system.

He emphasized the critical role that the supplies would play in supporting frontline healthcare workers and improving medical services across the country.

“I am delighted to receive essential medical emergency equipment from the Somali China Embassy. This contribution will bolster our healthcare capabilities, save lives, and support our frontline troops,” minister Hajiadam said.

He added that the donation underscores the strong partnership between the two countries and reflects China’s commitment to supporting Somalia’s healthcare sector.
