Clashes between government forces and Al-shabab embarks in Sey Dheere locality

Clashes between government forces and Al-shabab embarked in Seydheere locality in Bay region earlier today.

The clash started after government forces attacked Al-shabab bases in the area as a government official who remained anonymous confirmed to Goobjoog FM.

The clashes between the sides has been going on for hours and both sides used heavy artilleries, the resident started to fled from the area to avoid more confrontations.

Senior government official said that the government forces are in full control of Sey dhere and launched security operations in the locality.

He added that they will advance to nearby areas under the control of Al-shabab.
