Construction Work Starts at Jowhar Airport

Jowhar Airport is undergoing upgrading for first time after Somali central government deposed, in a bid to stimulate the economic growth of the region.

The projects is estimated to cost more than a Million, becoming the biggest project which is going to be implemented in Somalia since the collapse of Somalia’s powerful regime in early 1990s.

According to the administration of Jowhar, the airport will speed up the recovery and is a sign of bright future.

The public are optimistic that the completion of the airport will change and facilitate the transport.
