Danab commandos destroy Al-Shabaab base, kill 23 militants in Lower Juba region

GOOBJOOG NEWS | JUBA REGION: The Danab Commandos and the Jubaland Security Forces have destroyed Alshabab bases in Bibi, Malik-Dhahajo, Beer-Hani and Yaaq Dabayl in Lower Juba region.

The bases are believed to have been used by members of the terror group as hiding places as well as bases for planning attacks.

According to government media, at least 23 Al-Shabaab militants, including two leaders, Ahmed Ali Farah (Abu Abbas) and Gedi Warfaa Ali (Abu Musab) were killed.
