BREAKING: Deaths Feared as Al-Shabaab Bombs Hotel in Beletweyne

GOOBJOOG NEWS|BELETWEYNE: ‘Several’ people are fired dead in a massive bomb attack targeting a hotel in Beletweyne, in central Somalia, multiple sources have confirmed.
According to eyewitness accounts, suspected Al-Shabaab militants drove into a hotel hosting clan elders and local leaders who were meeting to plan on mobilising resources for a renewed fight against Al-Shabaab.
The casulaty figures were not immediately clear, but sources said some of the Al-Shabaab fighters entered the hotel and that gunfire can still be heard.
The attack comes amid an ongoing mobilisation for allied clan militia to support the operations carried out by the Somali National Army. SNA chief Odowaa Rage travelled to the Middle Shabelle region on Monday to lead the mobilisation.
