Delegation led by Mogadishu Mayor reaches Stockholm

The high level delegation led by the Governor Benadir Regional Administration and Mayor of Mogadishu Hassan Momed Hussein Muungaab  reached the  Swedish capital, Stockholm.

Banaadir  governor  received an official invitation from his Stockholm  counterpart Mr. Sten Nurdin, and are expected to sign deals and projects to rehabilitate the recovering city.

The delegation headed by the Mayor is scheduled to have discussions with Stockholm Mayor and members of the Swedish parliament on issues concerning the relations of the two cities and to develop ways of cooperation towards twining the cities.

He will also meet the Somali community in Stockholm to discuss how  they can participate in the reconstruction process of Mogadishu city, before he proceed the tour to other European countries.
