Deputy PM in Baidoa to coordinate relief efforts

GOOBJOOG NEWS | BAIDOA: Federal Government of Somalia Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama, and a team of national and international aid officials visited Baidoa Tuesday to coordinate the relief efforts for the flood victims.

The officials met with the President of the Southwest State, Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed (Laftagareen) to discuss how to support the people affected by the flash floods.

Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) Commissioner, Mohamud Moalim Abdulle was among the officials who joined the Deputy Prime Minister on the visit to Baidoa to assess the impact of the devastating floods and the emergency needs on the ground.
