War displaced families in Somalia’s Lower Shebelle region face lack of shelter and other basic needs
Their living conditions are in a dire due to shortage of food and other basic needs in Farhane and Bulo Sheikh Areas in Somalia’s Lower Shebelle region.
Among those mostly affected are women and children who’s their beloved ones lost in the clan-based violence that has recently sparked across many districts of the Lower Shebelle region.
The families who spoke to Goobjoog News asked the federal government and Aid agencies for Lower Shebelle to offer help and aid to those needy people.
Two clans have fought over the region several times in the past, and while the Somali government has been tried to mediate between the groups, a lasting ceasefire has never been achieved.
