Djibouti President meets the Somali community in Minnesota
The Djibouti community in the US state of Minnesota in collaboration with their Somali counterpart had last night organized a meeting with the Djibouti president Ismail Omar Gelleh.
Sadiq warfa, Somali community vice chairman who spoke to the media praised the efforts of the Djibouti government to restore peace and stability in Somalia.
President Ismail reiterated his country’s commitment to support the Somalia people in their efforts towards a sustainable peace.
On the other hand, the Somali community vice chairman stated that the Somali community in Minnesota are organizing a ceremony to welcome the president of the federal government of Somalia H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud tonight in Minneapolis.
The president is also expected to urge Somali community members in the US to partake and contribute his government’s efforts to restore peace and rebuild the nation.
