Elders criticise consultative conference in Galkayo
Traditional elders in Mudug have criticized the ongoing the consultative conference in Galkayo which is focussing challenges facing Puntland.
Elder Omar Abdullahi Mohamed who spoke to Goobjoog news that they are not satisfied with how conference organized.
“As a clan, we were not given our respective share we could have in the conference, we have submitted complain to the president of Puntland” he said.
Puntland President Abdiweli Mohamed Ali has on Tuesday launched the conference in Galkayo which the traditional elders are discussing restoration of trust among local communities and means of mediating in disputes between some clans.
Over the weekend on Saturday, delegates will conclude Galkayo conference with a communiqué that might come in handy according to organizers.
