Erdogan due to be inaugurated

The newly elected president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan is due to be inaugurated on Thursday after winning the hotly contested presidential elections.

Several heads of state are expected to attend the inauguration and swearing ceremony of the former Turkish PM Erdogan.

Somalia is represented by president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and delegates who reached Ankara on Wednesday.

According to reports US sent a representative of its embassy while no Western European officials attending the inauguration ceremony of president Erdogan.

After his election earlier this month Erdogan has appointed his former foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu as the PM and head of AK party.
