Ethiopia, Djibouti eager to foster longstanding relations: Djibouti President

Djibouti president Isamil Omar Guelleh said Ethiopia and Djibouti have longstanding relations and two countries are working to take these relations to an advanced level.

President Ismail Omar Guelleh has delivered a speech to Ethiopian parliament.

According to him, Ethiopia and Djibouti are pioneers of economic integration.

The president also said the two countries are integrated in hydro power, fiber optic interconnection and in railway.

“Africa is blessed with the greatest assets; namely its people and particularly its youth.  We have a very young and dynamic population and these younger generations will determine the future of our continent”, he added.
