EU naval force seizes 20 million euros worth narcotics in the Indian Ocean

GOOBJOOG NEWS|OMAN: The EU naval force Operation ATALANTA seized seized narcotics worth about 20 million euros off the coast of Oman last Friday.
A statement from the EUNAVFOR noted that the French Navy seized two tons of hashish while on regular patrol on May 26. It noted that the narcotics are valued at 20 million euros.
“The interdiction was conducted on the infamous ‘Hashish Highway’ , a narcotics trafficking that ultimately lead to Europe,” the statement read in part.

It noted that this was the third narcotics seizure this year bringing the total value of narcotics seized to 55 million euros.
