European union delegates meet interim Juba administration

Reports from Kismayo state that European Union delegates reached the port city earlier today to have discussions with top officials of interim Juba administration in Southern Somalia.

The delegates were warmly welcomed at the airport by senior officials of Juba administration.

The motive behind their visit is not clearly known but they are expected to discuss wide range issues with the newly recognized administration led by Ahmed Madobe including humanitarian assistance and reconstruction.
