Exodus of families in Janaale –Lower Shabelle

Mass departure of families is seen in Janaale town in Lower Shabelle due to the recent warfare between government forces with AMISOM troops and Alshabab fighters.

The battle took place yesterday in the location which increased the plight of the local residents who have been experiencing similar scenarios in last month.

Women, children and the old are the most affected and people are forced to flee to safe areas.

The Federal Government initiated military campaign to recapture towns that are under the control of Alshabab fighters.
