Explosion in Mogadishu kills one soldier

At least one government soldier was killed and two others sustained injuries after a car they were on board exploded in Mogadishu today.

The car bomb explosion occurred near Digfer hospital in Hodan district, eye witness told Goobjoog that the explosion was caused by explosive devices planted at in the car of the officers.

Security forces who reached the scene immediately dispersed the crowds that gathered at the area and launched operations to get the exact cause of the explosion.

Recently senior national security intelligence was killed in Mogadishu after armed men opened fire on a car they were travelling with.
