Farmaajo receives Credentials from new US Ambassador to Somalia

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: Outgoing Somali president, Abdullahi Hussein Farmaajo has on Monday accepted Credentials from the new US Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Larry E. André, Jr.

The new US Ambassador to Somalia delivered a message of goodwill from President Joe Biden to President Farmaajo and the people of Somalia and reiterated the strengthening of diplomatic ties between the two nations and promotion of longstanding cooperation on security, counter-terrorism, and development for mutual success.

The President congratulated Larry André and wished him success in his endeavors as the US special envoy to Somalia.while also assuring him of unwavering support in the discharge of his duties.
