Federal Government Congratulates Deni on his Re-election as Puntland President

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: The Federal Government of Somalia has sent a congratulatory message to Said Abdullahi Deni on his re-election as the president of Puntland State.

Deni won the elections after garnering 45 votes in the third round of voting, followed by followed by Salah Barre who got 21 votes.

The Government praised the people, candidates and House of Representatives of Puntland for organizing the election to happen in peace, saying the election was significant to the development of the country.
