Federal government denounce the murder of Somali journalist

Minister for Information of federal government Mustaf Dhuhulow has strongly condemned the assassination of freelance journalist Abdirizak Ali Abdi (Silver) in the Northern part of Galkayo town in the central Somalia region.

Puntland administration in Northern Somalia has also condemned the cold blooded murder of Abdirizak Ali Abdi.

Puntland Information Minister Abdiweli Hirsi Abdulle (Indhoguran) said he fervently condemns the killing of the journalist. “The forces will bring the perpetrators to justice very soon,” added Abdiweli.

”We strongly condemn the brutal assassination and at the same time condemn that act in the strongest possible words”.

He sent his heartfealt condolences to the families and friends of late journalist.

Abdirizak Silver was killed by unknown assailants armed with pistols in Norther Galkayo on Tuesday evening.
