Federal government deployed troops to Gedo region

Reports from Gedo region indicate that the federal government has deployed special troops to the area over the last two days.

A delegation sent by the federal government for reconciliation of Gedo resident reach yesterday to Luuq, Dolow, Beled-Hawa and Bardhere district. The Delegation said we need to build Gedo administration adding the minister of Jubaland security Mr Janan released and coming home safely soon.

In 2019, the Federal Government has attempted to overthrow Madobe’s administration using AMISOM especially Ethiopian troops to the current election in Kismayo but later failed.

The federal government now plans another attempt to divide the Jubaland region using politicians from the region with the aim of Madobe’s knockout.
