Federal government forces close main roads in Mogadishu

The security and SNA forces of federal government of Somalia have closed up all the main roads of city including Makka Al-Mukarrama road, one of the busiest streets in the capital, Mogadishu
Somali National army are commemorating their 55th anniversary today (12th April) and ceremonies are underway at the Head Quarters of Ministry of Defence of SFG.
The public vehicles and pedestrians were seen using small roads inside the villages which eventually led traffic jam.
This comes hours after mortars landed in Odweine suburb which killed on 1 person and injured 5 others.
Somali ministry for defence which the preparations of anniversary ceremonies are going on might be the intended target last night’s mortar shells.
