Federal Government Showcases New Housing Designs to Support Displaced Families

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: The Federal Government of Somalia has unveiled new housing design proposals intended to improve living conditions for displaced and vulnerable communities, underscoring its commitment to long-term resettlement and urban development.

The announcement and exhibition were organized by the Ministry of Housing and Public Works and attended by the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh.

Hosh said the initiative reflects a renewed effort by the Federal Government to provide dignified housing solutions and strengthen trust between institutions and citizens who have been affected by years of conflict and humanitarian crises.

The Federal Government has identified planned housing and community resettlement as a key pillar of its national recovery and stabilization agenda, particularly for families displaced by insecurity and climate-related shocks.
