Federal government welcomes scholarship opportunities pledged by Turkey government
Federal government of Somalia has welcomed Turkey government decision to offer scholarships to 500 Somali students every year.
The scholarship will be benefited by Somali hardworking students who are interested to pursue their studies abroad.
This comes after 25th march this year, Turkey ambassador to Somalia Olgan Baker has visited Simad University in Mogadishu.
The ambassador has stated that his government pledged that it will give more chances to Somali students who are thirty for education.
“My Government used to support Somalia and it will continue its support, we were supporting Somali universities from many sides such practical equipment, we also offer scholarships to Somali students” Olgan said.
Simad University rector Dahir Hassan Arab has commended Turkey government for its tireless support.
