Federal Parliament Concludes Debate on Chapter Nine of the Constitution

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Members of both chambers of the Federal Parliament of Somalia concluded discussions on Chapter Nine of the Provisional Constitution during the 21st joint session of the 7th parliamentary sitting.

The session was chaired by Ali Shacban Ibrahim, First Deputy Speaker of the Upper House, alongside Abdullahi Omar Abshirow and Abdullahi Hirsi Timacadde, Second Deputy Speakers of the two chambers.

Lawmakers from both the Upper House and the House of the People held detailed discussions on the provisions of Chapter Nine, engaging in substantive debates.

Closing the session, Deputy Speaker Ali Shacban Ibrahim commended members of both chambers for their active participation and contributions, and officially announced the conclusion of the debate on Chapter Nine.
