FEIT awards certificates to newly elected lawmakers
GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: The Federal Indirect Electoral Commission (FEIT) has today officially started issuing certificates to newly elected lawmakers.
A total of 11 legislators have so far received their certificates at a ceremony held in the vicinity of Mogadishu Airport, with over 300 more expected to receive theirs ahead of the April 14 swearing in ceremony. The following newly elected legislators picked their certificates Saturday morning:
MP Mohamed Ali Omar (Aana-nuug)
MP Mustafa Sheikh Ali Dhuhulow
MP Mohamed Nur Abubakar- Sharif Mustafa.
MP Mohamed Omar Aimoy
Senator Abdi Ahmed Dhuhulow (Dhagdheer)
MP Yusuf Gelle Ugas.
MP Mohamed Abdi Hayir-Manager.
MP Mohamed Harun Abdillahi
MP Abdisalam Haji Ahmed Liban-Dhabancad.
MP Abdirizak Omar Mohamed.
MP Abdinasir Shirwa.
The FEIT committee has also called on lawmakers who are out of Mogadishu abroad to arrive in the capital immediately to receive their parliamentary certificates.
